Genital Warts Symptoms Can Be Difficult To Diagnose

Genital Warts Symptoms Must Be Determined By Your Doctor

Genital warts symptoms are often not noticeable or present. Because of the lack of symptoms it can be difficult to properly diagnose.

Genital warts are one of the more common sexual transmitted diseases in society today. Genital warts in women and genital warts in men are growths on the genitals caused by a viral skin disease called human papilloma virus (HPV).

Genital warts can only be spread from person to person by sexual intercourse.

The symptoms can show up on your vulva, urethra, vagina, cervix, and around your anus. Genital warts can also be present in a man on his penis.

And it's quite common for both men and women to have symptoms of genital warts and not be aware of it at all.

The prevention of genital warts is very important.

With the majority of cases the warts themselves can be so small that the only way to detect them is through a medical examination.

Due to this fact, it can be difficult to determine just when you became infected, but if you are, you must seek proper medical treatment to avoid any health complications that may arise and to avoid spreading genital herpes to other individuals.

Here are some of the more common symptoms:

Another important point to take note of is that penetration during sex does not have happen in order for genital warts to be passed on from one person to another. If you or your partner have genital warts, they can attach themselves to your genital area, or your partners genital area as well.
