My Bowflex Experience

by Fredrick Ingram
(Lakeland Georgia)

To begin with, a little bit of information about me, My name is Fredrick, I'm 46 years old. a couple of years ago, I looked in the mirror and I did not like what I saw.

My story is not new or unusual; after a lot of shopping around and advice I purchased a Bowflex extreme, and I'm very satisfied. I would agree with many of the reviews that I have read, that the machine is a little pricey, also free weights may get you faster results if your looking to build a lot of muscle fast, but if you decide to purchase a Bowflex, you're money was well spent.

To begin with, you don't need a lot of room for the Bowflex like you do with free weights. As you move through an exercise routine, you will find that the time that it takes too add weight or reduce weight and change exercises is very fast. One of the biggest selling points for me, is that the machine is low impact on the joints, anyone who is 46 years old reading this, probably knows exactly what I'm talking about. you have a wide variety of exercises you can do to work your muscle groups in different ways, so you get results without getting burned out on doing the same old exercises over and over.

I would also like to point out, that the warranty that Bowflex offers is great, they stand by their product. I also own a set of the Bowflex select tech dumbells; they are pricey, but you will Love these dumbells. They give me the right amount of free weight training that I need. You can incorparate the use of dumbells into you're workout very easily. Overall, Bowflex makes a good product, pricey, but a good product. A final word of advice, if your son or daughter are hounding you too buy them a set of select-tech dumbells, DON'T.

These dumbells are great, I love mine, and they will last me for the rest of my life because I'm careful with them. If you have a teenager they probably will get broken because kids are kids.

These things are meant to be handled with care. If dropped, the locking mechanism tends to break, but it can be repaired by calling Bowflex, in the event of the unforeseen accident. Truly, anything in the Bowflex line of products is good, overall, I believe most people will be satisfied with their purchase.
