Sexy buns

Hi, this is Heather again and I had previously posted a question as to how I might be able to get rid of a thin layer of cellulite and have perky, sexy buns. I think that I may have found an answer that can be done either at home or in the office (and only takes about 2 minutes a day and you will not even break a sweat).

My friend Karen, who has gorgeous glutes, told me about this exercise and I would like to pass it on because IT IS SO EASY and the results ARE SO SEXY!

First, lie on your back with your arms at your sides, with your knees bent and your feet on the floor.

Next, lift your hips toward the ceiling, hold for a count of 1 and then lower back down.

Repeat the lifts for 60 seconds (or longer if you really want to give your buns a workout), squeezing your glutes and hamstrings at the top of the range of motion. Be careful not to overeach your spine.

By the way, a cushy mat will keep your tailbone from crying afterward.

Anyway, based on Karen's results I cannot wait to get started and have that sexy butt that I have always wanted.

The exercise you have described is a hip bridge. It is a great exercise but if you think doing it for 2 minutes will reshape your buns to a sexy, round, firm, perky set you are being delusional.

As a health-fitness-nutrition professional I cringe at these fragmented, misleading suggestions. The truth is if you want to reshape your butt it will take more work that two minutes per day and more exercises that just hip bridges.

The good news is it can be done without any equipment but it will take at least 3, 20 minute sessions per week to get results.
