What Libido?

I am 33 and just had my third child 3 months ago. Even before my third child came along my interest in sex has diminished severely. Besides changing my mind set and put effort in my attempts to have sex, is their other things I can try or take to help in the libido department?

First, don't be too hard on yourself right now, you're in "nurture mode" after having your baby and keeping busy looking after your little ones.

Hormones play a big part in our libido and sexual response, especially having enough testosterone (the lust hormone).

There is an excellent book out there by Marenna Lindberg called the Orgasm Diet, which addresses how women can increase our testosterone and bring on desire and better, even "extreme" orgasmic responses through diet and avoiding coffee and soy, sugar and starchy foods. The diet she does recommend is fairly high protein(30% protein/40% carbs/30% fats). She advocates these vitamins: a good multi, the RDA of calcium.magnesium and zinc (1000/400/15mg) and enough refined fish oil to give 1600 mg of EPA and 800DHA, usually around 7,000mg or 7 pills a day. She also suggests 15 mg of iron every 3 days and some extra vitamin C (from a glass of orange juice, plus a square of quality dark chocolate every day.

Marenna Lindberg also addresses pelvic floor tone, which will bring strength and ease to your desire and orgasm ease
