Yikes Whats Wrong I'm Losing My Hair In Chunks

by Sandy
(Victorville, Calif)

I'm a woman with hair loss problems. I'm going through a divorce and its been really rough. I recently got involved with another man, and then was torn apart from him. So its been really hard.

When I take showers I feel something running down my legs I look down to see what it is and its big glops of hair. Not just a little bit of hair loss, its like everytime I shower, and even when I brush my hair it fills the brush up with hair.

It's really scarey to see and by the time the shower is done, the bottom on the drain is full of my hair. Do you think that this is caused by stress?

Well, I've also lost around 38 pounds of my body weight as well because I've been so stressed please help if you can.

Thank you.

Divorce And Hair Loss
by: Rae

Hi there,

I got divorced 2 years ago and my hair fell out in patches and along the hairline. It was a very stressful time. Thankfully it grew back after a period of rest.

However I now seem to have a tendency for hair loss at other times now. I used a vitamin called Florisen which seemed to help and also at times I take Hair, skin and nail vitamins. I would hope that your hair will grow back too but worrying about it is a waste of energy.

I am a hypnotherapist and use self hypnosis to help myself too. Head massage is great too. Look after yourself and it will take about three months for your hair to start to come in again if it is due to stress. Get your thyroid checked too by your GP. Wish you all the best.xx
